About the OpportunityAs an independent contractor with Rula Health, you will provide clinical assessments for patients seeking mental health care, including diagnostic assessments, psychiatric workups, and treatment planning. You will have access to our electronic health record (EHR) system and telehealth platform.
Responsibilities- Provide clinical assessments for patients seeking mental health care
- Work with individuals struggling with mental health issues such as depression, anxiety, trauma, and addiction
- Have access to our EHR & telehealth platform
- Receive support from our Support and Care Coordination teams
- 2+ years of experience as a psychiatric nurse practitioner with experience in mental health assessment, diagnosis, triage, managing common psychiatric medication, and treatment plans
- An unrestricted license and valid DEA number registered in the state where you would like to work with Rula Health
- Certification as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC)
- Registration with state Prescription Monitoring Program (PMP)
- No suspension/exclusion/debarment from participation in federal healthcare programs
- A master's or doctoral degree from an accredited university or graduate program in psychiatric mental health nursing
- The ability to provide telehealth
You will receive a per-session payment of $120 for initial visits (60 minutes) and $80 for follow-up visits (30 minutes), with additional compensation for 90833 coding. Direct deposit every two weeks eliminates worries about unpaid claims, and no-show protection ensures you are paid 100% of your time even when patients cancel late or their claims are denied.
