Job Overview

We are seeking a full-time Psychiatric Nurse to join our team at Mass General Brigham. As a Psychiatric Nurse, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our psychiatric unit.

About the Role
  • This is a 36-hour per week position with a day/night rotation and every other weekend rotation.
  • You will work closely with an interdisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care to patients with psychiatric conditions.

$83,000 - $120,000 per year, depending on experience, is the estimated salary range for this position.

Responsibilities
  1. Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, conducting assessments, and developing individualized treatment plans.
  2. Collaborate with healthcare teams to coordinate care and communicate effectively with patients and families.
  3. Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient interactions and treatment plans.
  4. Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing required.
  • Massachusetts Registered Nurse Licensure required.
  • Certification in Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers required.
  • A minimum of one-year inpatient psychiatry experience preferred.
