Job Summary: As a Kitchen Operations Specialist at BBQ Holdings, you'll play a vital role in ensuring that our kitchens operate efficiently and effectively. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure that all food items are prepared according to company standards, maintaining a safe working environment and adhering to all OSHA guidelines. You'll also be responsible for receiving, rotating, and stocking food, as well as providing prep support as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Food Preparation: Ensure that all food items are prepared according to company standards, taking into account factors such as quality, timeliness, and presentation.
- Maintaining a Safe Working Environment: Adhere to all OSHA guidelines and maintain a clean and safe working environment, including proper food storage and handling practices.
- Inventory Management: Receive, rotate, and stock food inventory, ensuring that all items are stored properly and that expired or spoiled items are removed from the premises.
- Prep Support: Provide assistance to cooks and other kitchen staff as needed, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
Requirements:
- Education and Experience: 2 years of work experience or related experience preferred.
- Schedule Flexibility: Must be able to work a flexible schedule of nights, days, weekends, and holidays.
Estimated Salary: $45,000 - $55,000 per year, depending on location and experience.
