About the Job

We are seeking an experienced Lead Civil Engineer to join our team at Leidos. As a Lead Civil Engineer, you will be responsible for leading civil engineering efforts, including site surveys, design and drawing preparation, and installation support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead civil engineering teams to deliver high-quality results on large scale projects.
  • Collaborate with other engineering disciplines to develop solutions that meet or exceed defined requirements.
  • Develop construction specifications against customer and derived requirements.
  • Ensure construction design meets technical, cost, and schedule metrics.
  • Execute field integration delivery contracts, including production, installation, and customer acceptance.

Requirements:

  • Civil Engineering degree with current PE license; multi-state preference.
  • Ability to pass DHS suitability background check and gain Public Trust Clearance.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and AUTOCAD.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Extensive work with Federal Government and/or GSA on similar projects.
  • Experience working in high security areas with ongoing activities/operations.
  • International installation efforts.

Estimated Salary Range: $87,100 - $157,450

The salary range is based on national averages for senior civil engineers in the United States. It's a general guideline and may vary depending on factors such as location, experience, and qualifications.
