Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Hospital Pharmacist to join our team in a dynamic hospital setting. This is a 3-month contract role that offers flexible shifts, with the pharmacist required to fill any of the listed shifts based on department needs.

About the Job

This position is ideal for pharmacists looking to make a meaningful impact in a hospital setting. You will be responsible for dispensing medications and managing drug therapy for hospitalized patients.

Responsibilities:
  • Dispense medications and manage drug therapy for hospitalized patients.
  • Provide clinical pharmacy services, including drug utilization reviews, and medication counseling.
  • Assist in monitoring patient profiles, checking for drug interactions, side effects, and ensuring compliance with prescribed therapy.
  • Collaborate with medical teams, physicians, and nurses to optimize patient care and outcomes.
  • Participate in formulary management and support the efficient operation of the hospital pharmacy.
Ideal Candidate:
  • 1-2 years of hospital pharmacy experience (preferred).
  • Current Wisconsin Pharmacist License in good standing.
  • Familiarity with working in a hospital setting with flexible shifts, including on-call responsibilities.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate in a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
Compensation and Benefits

The estimated annual salary for this role is $115,000 - $140,000, depending on experience. Additional benefits include flexibility to work in a variety of shifts, opportunities for professional growth and development, and a collaborative work environment.
