Job Title: Histotechnologist

Job Summary:

At Urology America, MSO, we are committed to delivering high-quality patient care through a collaborative team-driven approach. As a Histotechnologist, you will play a crucial role in preparing microscopic tissue slides for diagnostic purposes.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare microscopic slides on human tissue for diagnostic purposes.
  • Perform histochemical and immunohistochemical stains on a variety of slide-mounted tissues.
  • Enter data to accession specimens and maintain logs and records.
  • Prepare or maintain necessary reagents, including stains, alcohols, and paraffins.
  • Maintain laboratory equipment and accurate records.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma required.
  • Minimum of two years experience in a histology laboratory setting.
  • HT certification by the ASCP.
  • Knowledge of programming and operation of Histology-related IHC equipment.
  • Basic knowledge of Windows Office Products and data entry.
