We are seeking an experienced ER Nurse for a travel assignment in Neenah, WI. As a critical care specialist, you will work closely with a diverse team of caregivers to provide high-quality patient care.

Job Summary

The Emergency Room RN will be responsible for evaluating, triaging, and implementing care for patients in a fast-paced environment. You will perform minor medical operations, advise patients and family members on illnesses or injuries, and plan long-term care needs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide basic bedside care, including cleaning and bandaging wounds.
  • Administer IV therapy and maintain supplies and medical equipment.
  • Monitor patients' emotional and physical well-being, reporting any suspected abuse to appropriate agencies.
  • Work collaboratively with the healthcare team to ensure seamless patient care.

You should be able to stand and walk for long periods of time, bend, lean, and stoop without difficulty, and easily lift 20 pounds. Moving or lifting patients may require lifting up to 50 pounds at times.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should possess ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications, as well as 3 years of experience in emergency room settings. Additional certifications may be required before beginning an assignment.

Compensation

The estimated salary for this position is $120,000 per year, depending on location and experience.
