Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced General Manager to oversee the success of our store and team by setting high performance and customer service standards. The ideal candidate will provide ongoing coaching and training to develop their skills, lead marketing efforts, and champion store security and loss prevention.

Responsibilities:
  • Coach, lead, and develop all store employees to drive business growth and increase revenue through knowledge sharing and performance reporting.
  • Lead local marketing strategies, partner with businesses, and participate in community events to build revenue and growth.
  • Enforce adherence to quality standards, audit loan/pawn agreements, and participate in compliance reviews as directed.
  • Maintain office security, cash management, and loss prevention by verifying cash, vault, inventory, deposits, and expenses.
  • Examine and process loan/pawn applications, assess risk within established limits, and handle complex customer situations with integrity.
  • Select, review, hire, and retain new employees based on performance and potential.
  • Develop work schedules based on budget, workload, and store needs to ensure optimal performance.
Requirements:
  • A minimum of two years of experience in a supervisory or leadership role in retail, finance, or related industries.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including proficiency in MS Office and other systems.
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment, multitask, and maintain a full-time work schedule with regular attendance.
  • Possess strong interpersonal skills for effective communication with customers and Team Members at all levels.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus and may be required for certain locations.
