About the Role

MUSC is seeking a skilled echocardiogram sonographer to conduct diagnostic exams using sound waves to create live images of the heart. As an echo technologist, you will measure cardiovascular health by viewing blood flow and valve movement with the echocardiogram.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct diagnostic echocardiogram exams to visualize heart function and identify potential issues
  • Use sound waves to create high-quality images of the heart for accurate diagnosis and treatment planning
  • Measure and evaluate blood flow and valve movement to assess cardiovascular health

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or equivalent work experience
  • 5 years of support experience or 0-2 years of professional experience
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross
