Gordon Food Service is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Food Production Associate to join our team. As a key member of our retail store team, you will be responsible for preparing sliced meats and cheeses, making sandwiches and wraps, and ensuring that all food safety and sanitation procedures are followed.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare sliced meats and cheeses, and make sandwiches and wraps to meet customer demands.
  • Operate a meat slicer and other equipment to prepare ingredients for customer use.
  • Follow all food safety and sanitation procedures to ensure a clean and safe working environment.
  • Fill in other areas such as stocking, cashiering, or other food production areas during down times.
  • Use Rotisserie Oven to cook up to 3 times per day, and utilize a broaster to cook chicken tenders, chicken wings, or other chicken items, fish and potato wedges as needed.
  • Take temperatures of cooked foods and cold foods to ensure quality and safety.
  • Change oil in broasters to maintain equipment cleanliness and efficiency.
Requirements:
  • At least 16 years of age.
  • Able to provide superior customer service.
  • Able to multitask and work on your own or within a team.
  • Basic math and computer skills.
  • Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
