Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Autonomous Support Specialist to join our team at Redwood Family Care Network. In this role, you will provide essential support and training to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) in the Everett, WA area.

Salary Information

Job Description

This is a unique opportunity to work under the general direction of the Administrator, providing tailored support and training to individuals with IDD and co-occurring mental illness. As an Autonomous Support Specialist, your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Ensuring the supervision, safety, and well-being of individuals at all times.
  • Implementing and documenting Individual Service Plans (ISPs), including all informal and formal training and service objectives.
  • Participating in the development and evaluation of ISPs.
  • Monitoring and supporting individual health and well-being, reporting observations to the Administrator and/or District Manager.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need to possess a High School Diploma or equivalent and 2 years of experience in the IDD field. You must be willing to complete the Registered Behavioral Technician course and demonstrate a strong understanding of person-centered planning principles.
