  • Manage and execute project documentation, including Risk Assessments, Installation Qualification (IQ), and Operational Qualification (OQ) testing protocols.
  • Develop, customize, and troubleshoot control systems and integrate third-party devices (e.g., using Ethernet IP, Profibus).
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams to address project-specific challenges and provide technical expertise during root cause analysis and process optimization.
  • Ensure compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and other regulatory requirements, creating and updating documentation to maintain audit-readiness.
  • Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior engineers, sharing best practices for system configuration, code development, and documentation.

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Chemical, Electrical, or related Engineering field.
  • Experience: 5+ years in automation engineering within the biopharmaceutical or pharmaceutical sector, with hands-on expertise in DeltaV systems.
  • Technical Skills:
    • Strong proficiency with Emerson DeltaV, including batch configuration, HMI development, and system integration.
    • Familiarity with SCADA and MES systems, and experience with third-party device integration.
    • Basic scripting/programming skills (Python, Java) are a plus, along with knowledge of SQL and networking fundamentals.
  • Certifications: Preferred certifications include Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) or Certified Scrum Master (CSM).
  • Additional Competencies:
    • Ability to manage complex projects and adapt in high-pressure environments.
    • Strong communication and documentation skills to facilitate cross-team collaborations.
