About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Mammography Technologist to join our Imaging/Radiology team at MultiCare Health System, Inc. In this role, you will perform a variety of radiological technical procedures specific to the diagnosis and treatment of breast disease.

Key Responsibilities
  • Serve as patient advocate and apply compassionate communications of procedures
  • Model excellence in professional radiologic practice
  • Accurately produce mammographic images per protocol, making appropriate technical adjustments for body size and habitus, age, and past medical history
  • Collaborate with the radiologist to perform all departmental special procedures
  • Demonstrate knowledge and application of radiation safety principles for both patients and self and provide radiation protection when appropriate
Requirements
  • Satisfactory completion of formal radiologic technology in an AMA approved school
  • Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists
  • Certified with the State of Washington Department of Health
  • Mammography Certification required, or eligible for certification; If eligible, must obtain certification within 6 months of hire into this job classification
  • Previous experience with electronic patient information systems and/or mammography tracking systems preferred
