Transformational Leader for Academic Excellence

RePublic Schools is seeking a dedicated and results-driven Principal to lead our school community towards academic excellence. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for driving instruction, creating a culture of academic ownership, and fostering a school-wide environment that promotes student success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the school-based leadership team and teachers to monitor academic progress, analyze student achievement data, and drive instructional decisions.
- Ensure scholars are prepared for college and career readiness by creating opportunities for content mastery and academic growth.
- Foster a culture of academic ownership, where students love learning, think critically, and take ownership of their academic progress.
- Build strong relationships with families, students, and staff to ensure collective investment in instructional priorities and expectations.
- Manage and develop a school-based leadership team, including coaching and developing staff to achieve academic excellence.
- Lead and facilitate robust professional development, focusing on classroom management, data-driven decision-making, and cultural systems and initiatives.
- Recruit, select, and hire top talent to teach, lead, and support the mission and vision of the school.
- Manage the growth of the school, including facilities and academic programs, to ensure a safe and supportive learning environment.
- Serve as a liaison to the broader educational community, championing the work of RePublic Schools and building a network of supporters.
Requirements:
- A proven school leader with a track record of results, preferably with experience serving historically underserved students.
- Exceptional strategic, analytical, and critical-thinking skills, with the ability to use data to drive decision-making.
- Ability to build relationships across lines of difference, inspire and motivate others, and navigate challenging conversations.
- Self-aware and humble, with a willingness to learn and grow.
- A bachelor's degree, preferably with a graduate degree in a related field.
