Inventory Control Specialist

Key Responsibilities:

This role plays a critical part in the overall control of inventory at Tropicana Brands Group. The inventory control specialist will study internal processes and operations to identify areas for improvement and recommend strategies to resolve issues and reduce risk.

The successful candidate will work closely with the manufacturing, warehouse, quality, and finance teams to ensure that inventory controls are maintained to the highest standards. This includes daily review of inventory dashboards and control measures, monitoring SAP trends, and ensuring data integrity between SAP and the WMS.

Additional Responsibilities:

• Daily review of inventory dashboards and control measures to identify trends, errors, and discrepancies
• Monitoring SAP trends to reduce and eliminate reoccurrence
• Ensuring data integrity between SAP and the WMS
• Completing monthly reconciliation between SAP and the internal warehouse management system
• Identifying and escalating technical issues with SAP or the WMS to the IT support team
• Reviewing and understanding inventory control requirements and implementing internal controls and measures to ensure compliance
• Developing and enhancing inventory control measures and KPIs to continuously improve and eliminate waste

Requirements:

• Degree or diploma in Supply Chain, Business, Finance, Engineering, Business Information Systems, or related field
• 3-5 years of relevant experience in a manufacturing or distribution environment in inventory control, production, or logistics operations
• Proficiency in SAP and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel and reporting tools
• Experience working with large data sets to problem-solve and provide insights into trends
• Knowledge of Power BI to provide visual insights into data an advantage
• Experience with EDI system troubleshooting a plus
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with a continuous improvement mindset
• Ability to work independently and proactively
• Well-structured methodical approach to work, able to multi-task and prioritize

This position is salaried, exempt with a targeted annual salary of $65,000-$75,000.
