Job Title: Project Manager - IT Consultant

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our team at Rose International. As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for leading multiple infrastructure, cloud-based, information security, and/or application-level projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, organize, and coordinate the needs of technical peers, technical and user management, business users, vendors, and staff members.
  • Develop and maintain documentation for core project collateral, training, policies, procedures, and best practices.
  • Estimate, track, and report on costs, including potential hard dollar, and internal Client personnel and contractor hours.
  • Coordinate with agency management and resources responsible for ongoing maintenance and support of Client components post-implementation as needed for knowledge transfer and for coordination with new Client implementation.

Requirements:

  • A Bachelor's degree in information technology systems, computer science, or related field and four (4) years of experience in information technology systems or related area; or an associate's degree in information technology systems, computer science, or related field and six (4) years of experience in information technology systems or related area; or a High School diploma and eight (8) years of experience in information technology systems or related area.
  • PMP certification verifiable via
  • Excellent verbal and written communications to include grammar, composition, punctuation, writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
  • Team player.
  • Leadership skills.
  • Working knowledge of the PMI project management lifecycle, including waterfall and agile methodologies.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience as a project manager in government IT projects.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft products- Windows, SharePoint, Microsoft Project, MS Office, Office 365, Visio.
  • Knowledge of information technology best practices, organization, and operations.
