Job Summary

The Front Desk Agent is responsible for providing exceptional guest service and ensuring a smooth stay for our hotel guests. This role requires a high level of proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and excellent communication skills. The ideal candidate will be able to work productively as part of a team and maintain a positive attitude in demanding situations.

Key Responsibilities

• Welcoming guests and visitors with a warm smile and professional demeanor
• Answering incoming calls promptly and professionally
• Entering and updating guest registration, billing, and room assignments
• Handling guest requests and resolving issues in a timely manner
• Maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the reception area

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Previous hotel front desk experience
• Excellent reading, writing, and oral proficiency in English
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays

Physical Demands

The Front Desk Agent must be able to continuously stand for extended periods, use hands and fingers to operate a computer, and occasionally sit for paperwork. The ability to push/pull a cart and lift/move objects up to 50 pounds is also required. Standing and walking are continuous for 4-5 hours at a time, with repetitive movements including standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and ascending/descending stairs.
