Job Summary

UCI Health is seeking a highly experienced and visionary leader to serve as the Chief Quality Officer, Vice President. This individual will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive quality strategy that ensures the highest level of patient care and safety across the organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate and improve the quality of patient care and safety
  • Develop and implement quality initiatives and programs
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to achieve quality goals
  • Monitor and report on quality metrics and performance
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and accreditation requirements
Requirements
  • 7-10 years of experience in healthcare, with at least 5 years of leadership experience in an academic medical setting
  • MD degree with significant practice experience in a board-certified specialty
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proven leadership track record with ability to influence and achieve results
  • Comprehensive understanding of healthcare delivery, including strategy, business planning, operations, and financial management
