Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Strategic Education Leader - Women's History to join our team. This pivotal role involves providing strategic program management and day-to-day oversight of educational initiatives aimed at engaging diverse audiences, including students, educators, families, and community groups both virtually and in person.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Strategic Program Oversight: Collaborate with the Vice President of Education to provide project management and strategic oversight of strategic programs and educational initiatives across all audiences.
  • Program and Resource Development: Design, develop, and implement innovative educational programs, including workshops, lectures, tours, professional development opportunities, and educational resource materials.
  • Evaluation and Assessment: Develop evaluation metrics and tools to assess the impact and effectiveness of educational programs and use data to inform programmatic improvements.
  • Budget Management: Manage program budgets, including grant funding, and ensure responsible stewardship of resources.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in education, museum studies, history, or a related field. Master's degree is strongly preferred.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in educational program development, preferably in a museum or cultural institution.
  • Strong knowledge of, or interest in, women's history and a demonstrated commitment to promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion in education.
Salary and Benefits

This position offers a salary range of $95,000 - $115,000, commensurate with experience, along with individual health benefit plan coverage, short-term and long-term disability insurance, participation in a 403(b) plan, generous paid vacation and sick leave policy, and other benefits.
