Job Overview:

At ESPN, we are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our Music Licensing team as a Music License Coordinator. This role is responsible for ensuring timely and accurate music license processing, generating cue sheets for partners, organizing submitted sheets, and maintaining metadata for ESPN owned music.

This is an exciting opportunity to work with a dynamic team and utilize your organizational skills to support the success of our music licensing operations.

Key Responsibilities:

* Assist in the preparation, filing, and organization of music licenses.
* Manage digital metadata storage, organization, and updates for worldwide tracking.
* Support cue sheet approval and reporting for ESPN networks.
* Track ESPN programming and submit cue sheets to affiliate networks.
* Register ESPN owned copyrights and reconcile copyright metadata backlog.
* Organize and deliver music packages for productions.
* Provide guidance and training on music procedures to in-house producers and employees.

Requirements:

* 1-2 years of experience in broadcast, technical operations, library science, or music backgrounds.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Ability to prioritize projects based on time and resources.
* Demonstrated organizational and communication skills.
* Proficiency in Mac and PC operating systems, MS Word, MS Excel, or similar applications.

Preferred Requirements:

* Minimum 2 years of college with professional experience in broadcast, technical operations, library science, or music licensing backgrounds.
* Familiarity with Soundmouse, SynchTank, and Smartsheet.
* Spanish proficiency.

Compensation:

The estimated annual salary for this position is $55,000 - $65,000, depending on location and experience.
