Job Summary

The Clinical Supervisor, reporting to the Cancer Center Director, is responsible for overseeing the clinical operations of a medical oncology department at Christus Health. This key role requires leadership and management skills to ensure high-quality patient care and supervise nursing staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage a team of nursing professionals in a fast-paced clinical environment.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive patient care services.
  • Develop and implement effective human resource strategies to optimize nursing performance.
  • Ensure adherence to quality and safety standards in patient care delivery.
Requirements
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree or equivalent experience required.
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in a similar role, preferably in an oncology setting.
  • Current RN license in the State of New Mexico.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications.
Working Conditions
  • Irregular working hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Prolonged standing and extensive walking may be required.
  • Exposure to infectious diseases and radiation.
Estimated Salary

$85,000 - $115,000 per annum, based on qualifications and experience.
