Electrophysiology Technician Opportunity at Princeton Baptist Medical Center


Princeton Baptist Medical Center, a leading healthcare provider in Birmingham, is seeking a skilled Electrophysiology Technician to join our team. As a member of our Electrophysiology Laboratory, you will play a critical role in assisting physicians during intra-cardiac EP studies and pacemaker implants.


Responsibilities:


  • Operate various equipment to monitor blood pressure, oxygen level, electrocardiograms, and pressure in chambers and vessels in the heart.
  • Prepare patients for electrophysiology studies and pacemaker follow-up in clinic.
  • Set up and operate associated electrophysiology study equipment.
  • Adhere to hospital and department policies, procedures, and objectives.

Requirements:


  • Graduate of an approved Radiology or Cardiology technology program or equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
  • 1 year of cardiology experience.
  • BLS and ACLS certifications within 6 months of hire.
  • Preferred: AART and/or RCES certifications.
