Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team at UMass Memorial Health. As a LPN, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and promoting health and wellness in our community.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess patients' physical and psychosocial status, obtaining relevant histories and administering medications as prescribed.
  • Provide health care and coordinate referrals as directed by healthcare providers.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of patient information and services provided.
  • Communicate effectively with healthcare facilities and teams to ensure continuity of care.
  • Facilitate education and adherence to treatment protocols, promoting patient empowerment and self-care.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with current LPN licensure in Massachusetts.
  • Ability to pass a CORI background check.
  • Preferred: 2-4 years of experience in medical nursing.
Work Environment

This role requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, standing for extended periods, and lifting up to 50 pounds. A valid driver's license is not required for this position.
