Job Summary

The US Department of Health and Human Services is seeking a highly skilled Emergency Room Nurse to provide exceptional patient care in a fast-paced emergency department setting. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for assessing patient needs, developing and implementing individualized care plans, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide professional nursing care to patients in the emergency department, including assessing patient needs, developing and implementing individualized care plans, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, and monitor patients for adverse reactions.
  • Use specialized equipment such as cardiac monitoring devices, ventilator devices, and hypothermic units to provide patient care.
  • Record information on patients' charts and maintain accurate records of intake and output.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Requirements
  • Current licensure as a registered nurse in the state of employment.
  • Experience in emergency nursing, preferably in a pediatric or adult care setting.
  • Ability to work rotational shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Working Conditions

The selected candidate will be required to work in a fast-paced emergency department setting, with frequent exposure to high-stress situations. The candidate must be able to work effectively in a team environment and communicate effectively with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals.
