Job Summary

We are seeking a Benefits Analyst to join our Well-Being and Benefits team. This role will be responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely administration of benefits data and information, as well as assisting with various benefits projects to support the department's goals and objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure benefit elections are complete and accurate, including following up with participants to collect missing information and advising participants of approvals, denials, or requests for additional information.
  • Proactively reach out to participants and management when deadlines are approaching to ensure timely completion of benefits-related tasks.
  • Communicate enrollments, changes, or terminations with insurance carriers and brokers, and provide members with termination and leaver notices.
  • Electronically file all relevant participant information in a secure database and protect and maintain confidential and sensitive information.
Requirements
  • Knowledge of US health and welfare plans and benefits practices.
  • Well-developed and professional interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with people at all organizational levels.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent, with a Bachelor's degree or equivalent preferred.
  • A minimum of one year of related employee benefits administration experience, or a minimum of two years of relevant administrative experience.
