Job Overview

We are seeking a highly organized and tech-savvy professional to fill a unique dual role as a Business Operations Manager & Medical Scribe at Marble City Medical. In this position, you will be responsible for ensuring smooth day-to-day operations by handling patient scheduling and data management, while also providing essential support to physicians and Nurse practitioners during patient rounds.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operations & Administration:
    • Oversee patient scheduling.
    • Ensure accurate and timely data entry into the Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system.
    • Manage essential business functions, including credentialing, new hire onboarding, and maintaining operational workflows.
    • Coordinate seamlessly with healthcare professionals to ensure an efficient and organized workplace.
  • Medical Scribing & Record Management:
    • Assist physicians during patient rounds by documenting medical histories, examinations, diagnoses, and treatment plans in real time.
    • Update and manage patient records with detailed information on allergies, medications, and treatment histories.
    • Support physicians and nurses in ensuring the accuracy of all medical records.
  • Additional Duties:
    • Assist in handling any urgent medical record or scheduling situations promptly and efficiently.
    • Perform occasional remote tasks such as data verification, and be available for essential communications outside normal working hours.

Requirements:

  • Experience: Ideally, 1 year in a medical setting or related field.
  • Skills:
    • Proficiency with electronic medical records and strong computer skills.
    • High attention to detail and accuracy.
    • Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining calm in emergencies.
    • Strong organizational, communication, and time-management skills.
    • Familiarity with medical insurance processes is a plus.
  • Personal Qualities:
    • Professionalism, confidentiality, and a passion for providing quality patient care.
    • Willingness to learn and adapt to new technology and processes.
    • Must be fluent in English with excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Work Environment:

This is a full-time position with a work schedule of Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some flexibility for phone or data tasks outside normal hours. The work environment is 75% on-site and 25% remote work for administrative tasks. The salary is $3,200 per month, paid semi-monthly (on the 1st and 15th), with a raise at 3 months and one year. This is a 1099 contracted position with holidays off.
