Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Vascular Technologist to join our team at Franciscan Vascular Associates in Tacoma, WA. As a Vascular Technologist, you will perform diagnostic non-invasive testing procedures to provide essential information regarding the blood supply to and from the tissues of the extremities and vital organs of the body.

Responsibilities:

  • Review and record patient history and supporting clinical data.
  • Prepare patients for testing and perform appropriate clinical procedures.
  • Obtain anatomical, pathological, and/or physiological data for interpretation by a physician.
  • Compile a foundation of data for diagnosis and treatment.

Requirements:

  • Completion of a training program accredited by the American Medical Association – Committee on Allied Health Education (AMA-CAHEA) for vascular ultrasound.
  • One year of post-graduate experience in vascular ultrasound or demonstrated high degree of proficiency, knowledge, and acuity in the field of diagnostics or ultrasound.
  • Current registration as a Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) through the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers.
  • Current Healthcare Provider BLS certification.

Working Conditions:

This position is in a busy and fast-paced office. Weekend shift required and rotating holiday coverage will be required.

Pay Range:

$65.08/hour
