The Sales Director will be an experienced digital media sales executive with deep knowledge of the digital acquisition and omni-channel marketplace. They will be responsible for helping to lead and grow a team of strategic field sellers in the Eastern North America region working with top-tier agencies and marketers to meet customer needs and exceed the team’s revenue goals. They will have strong relationships and be able to easily meet with high-level decision makers at Big 6 and independent agencies.

This role requires a proven sales leader, effective manager, who will be humble and respected by subordinates, colleagues, and customers. The ideal candidate will love to be a player-coach, strategizing with their team, finding ideal solutions for customers, and building deep relationships with agencies and clients.

Sales Responsibilities:
  • Assist RVP in overseeing a team responsible for sourcing and closing new business to regularly meet and exceed sales goals.
  • Manage forecasting, account assignment, and quota achievement for a team of sellers.
  • Build an intimate understanding of Quantcast products and their place in the industry.
  • Help to build relationships with agency contacts.
  • Assist team in performing in-person presentations to media professionals, crafting responses to RFPs, and closing accounts.
  • Track and manage sales pipeline and account activities in Salesforce.com.
  • Deliver product feedback to operations leaders to ensure the voice of the customer is part of Quantcast’s DNA.
  • Share expertise and advise clients on new campaign ideas to generate continued results.
  • Work with internal account management and ad operations to ensure client satisfaction.
  • Participate in industry events and conferences.
Requirements:
  • 10+ years sales experience in online advertising including programmatic/ad-tech.
  • Current or previous management experience or relevant player-coach experience.
  • Outgoing and adept at creating professional relationships. Direct and agency contacts at both senior and junior levels.
  • Experience in programmatic digital media is ideal.
  • Strong understanding of fundamentals of online advertising processes and technology.
  • Active in industry trade and networking events and experience representing previous companies in the industry.
  • Exceptional communication skills (both verbal and written).
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to QA own work.
  • Hunter mentality, perseverance, and ability to “think on your feet.”
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, including managing remote and hybrid employees.
Compensation and Benefits:

The expected base salary range for this position is $162,000 to $219,200, with the opportunity to earn up to $324,000 to $438,400 in OTE. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including hybrid work arrangements, vacation time, medical, dental, and vision insurance, and retirement plans. Recognizing the importance of flexible work environments, Quantcast operates in a hybrid work model, giving employees the opportunity to work from home two days a week and collaborate in the office for the remainder of the time. Additionally, all hybrid employees can work remotely for two weeks each year or apply for our fully remote work program.
