Overview:

We are seeking a seasoned professional to join our team as a Senior UX Designer, playing a pivotal role in crafting exceptional user experiences that have an impact on engagement, retention, and conversion. This position involves close collaboration with developers, product owners, and clients, requiring both a deep understanding of design principles and the ability to lead projects from concept to delivery.

The successful candidate will be based out of our Minneapolis office, which is currently hybrid, and will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless implementation and alignment with technical constraints and product goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Communication: The Senior UX Designer will maintain clear and effective communication channels with project members, ensuring alignment and addressing issues early.
  • Done Means Done For Everyone: The designer will ensure that tasks and features are completed to a high standard and are genuinely ready for the next phase, adhering to Acceptance Criteria (AC) and the Definition of Done (DoD).
  • Billing: The Senior UX Designer will accurately track project progress and hours, ensuring billing aligns with project goals and resources.
  • Estimation: The designer will provide accurate and detailed estimates for project tasks and features, ensuring alignment with business goals, timelines, and budgets.
  • Client Facing Interactions: The Senior UX Designer will maintain clear and effective communication with clients, ensuring their expectations are met regarding project timelines, goals, and overall progress.

What We're Looking For:

To excel in this role, you'll need:

  • A strong understanding of user-centered design principles and human-computer interaction.
  • Experience in modern design tools like Figma and Adobe CC.
  • Proficiency in creating development-ready user interfaces and designing scalable design systems.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with a client-facing demeanor.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and adapt to changes in project scope or priorities.

Salary:

$120,000 - $150,000 per annum, depending on experience.
