The Licensed Practical Nurse/Licensed Vocational Nurse (LPN/LVN) is responsible for delivering high-quality patient-centered care by performing delegated basic patient care services. The LPN/LVN works collaboratively with the RN and other care team members to provide individualized, comprehensive care consistent with the scope and standards of the specialty.

In this role, you will acquire essential knowledge related to function at the sterile field and successfully complete skills validation. You will also provide direct evidence-based care to patients as directed by the physician or RN, assist with procedures, monitoring, or other functions as directed, and document the administration of care in the patient medical record in a timely and thorough manner.

Serve as a resource to department staff, students, and volunteers to help deliver quality patient care. To qualify for this position, you must have completed a Texas Board of Nursing-approved program.
