About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Nurse Practitioner to join our dynamic team on the Med Surgical unit at Ascension Seton. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care, work collaboratively with physicians and other healthcare professionals, and contribute to a positive and supportive work environment.

Responsibilities
  • Assess patient needs and develop individualized care plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team.
  • Provide direct patient care, including medication administration, wound management, and vital sign monitoring.
  • Conduct routine health assessments, order diagnostic tests as needed, and interpret results to inform treatment decisions.
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and ensure seamless transitions throughout the hospital stay.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Nursing or related field required.
  • Current RN license in the state of Texas required.
  • BLS certification required.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience as a Nurse Practitioner in an acute care setting preferred.
Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this role is estimated to be between $110,000 and $140,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications. In addition to competitive compensation, we offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health, dental, and vision insurance, retirement savings plan, and paid time off.
