We are seeking a dedicated, focused and professional Pediatric Medical Assistant to join our team at Sahara Medical Institute. Our practice offers exceptional, compassionate and family-centered care to children from infancy through adolescence.

As a Pediatric Medical Assistant, you will be responsible for greeting patients and visitors in a friendly and professional manner. You will maintain accurate patient records, manage medical office systems and handle medical scheduling efficiently to optimize patient flow and minimize wait times.

You will assist with the management of electronic health records, familiarize yourself with medical terminology and collaborate with medical staff to ensure seamless communication and patient care.

The ideal candidate will be fluent in both English and Spanish, providing exceptional customer service to our diverse clientele. A minimum of 2 years experience in a pediatric or family practice setting is preferred, with knowledge of medical administrative support functions.

Familiarity with medical coding practices and insurance verification processes is advantageous. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail for accurate documentation management are essential.

A proficiency in using electronic health record systems, particularly eClinicalWorks or similar platforms, is required. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with patients and staff are necessary.

Responsibilities:
