**Overview of the Role**

At US Foods, Inc., we are seeking a highly skilled Senior Heavy Truck Driver to join our team. As a Class A CDL holder with at least six months of commercial driving experience, you will play a crucial role in ensuring timely and efficient delivery of food products to our customers.

**Estimated Salary:** $28.40 per hour (with annual increases) up to $32.40 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.

**Job Description**

We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented driver who can safely operate a heavy truck, manage collections, and provide exceptional customer service. Your duties will include:

  • Safely driving trucks to customers and meeting scheduled delivery times.
  • Carefully unloading products from the trailer using a two-wheeler, pallet jack, or by hand, and placing them in designated customer storage areas.
  • Verifying accuracy of delivery with customers and obtaining proper signatures.
  • Handling collections and payments from customers when applicable.
  • Providing professional customer service to enhance our client experience.
  • Performing pre-trip and post-trip equipment inspections.

**Required Skills and Qualifications**

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • A valid CDL Class A license issued by the state of legal residence.
  • A minimum of six months of commercial driving experience (any industry) or three months of experience in the food and/or beverage delivery industry.
  • The ability to read and communicate in the English language, including understanding highway traffic signs and signals.
