Job Summary

The Staff Coordinator for Home Health Care plays a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our home health care services. This position requires a highly organized individual who can effectively coordinate scheduling, patient assignments, and staff communication.

Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate all activities related to scheduling staff and patient assignments for ProHealth Home Care and Hospice.
  • Accurately enter employee and patient schedules into the Epic system.
  • Promptly handle and document changes due to patient or employee cancellations.
  • Provide agency personnel with current demographic information related to assignments.
  • Schedule staff for orientation to special skilled cases in a consistent manner.
  • Gives timely input to coordinator/manager and other staff to coordinate staffing issues.
  • Consults with the coordinator/manager regarding problems related to scheduling and/or personnel.
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • At least 1 year of related scheduling and/or health care experience preferred.
  • Experience with Epic EMR preferred.
