We are seeking a skilled Phlebotomist II to join our team at TalentBurst. As a Phlebotomist II, you will be responsible for drawing quality blood samples from patients and preparing those specimens for lab testing while following established practices and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Represent the face of our company to patients, creating an atmosphere of trust and confidence while explaining procedures.
  • Draw blood samples from patients in a skillful, safe, and accurate manner.
  • Provide coverage at multiple locations for multiple roles, ensuring daily activities are completed accurately and on time.
  • Lead one or more Patient Service Representatives on site, acting as a coach, mentor, instructor, and resource advisor for new employees.
  • Act as a point of contact to staff on site and provide regular input to the group lead or supervisor.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Medical training: medical assistant or paramedic training preferred.
  • Phlebotomy certification preferred, required in California, Nevada, and Washington.
  • Three years phlebotomy experience, inclusive of pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections.
  • Pediatric experience preferred.
  • Minimum 2 years in a Patient Service Center environment preferred.
  • Customer service in a retail or service environment preferred.
