Key Responsibilities:- Demonstrate teaching skills, including Daily Living Skills, social skills, and community involvement.
- Support children and youth with disabilities in becoming actively involved in their communities, developing friendships, and independent use of community resources.
- Provide regular opportunities for inclusion through planned activities, social interactions, exposure, advocacy, training, and education as identified in the assessment and planning process.
- Assist with personal care tasks as needed, such as mobility, eating, bathroom, etc.
- Document daily services provided in the required time frame and format.
- Maintain open, respectful, and clear communication with participants, families, and supervisors.
- Meet all necessary training requirements.
- Transport and accompany individuals to community activities in company or personal vehicles.
- Minimum 1 year work experience with individuals and/or children with disabilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Knowledge of modifications, adaptation, and use of specialized equipment.
- General knowledge of computer use and programs required.
