Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Housekeeping Associate to join our team at Hyatt House Scottsdale. As a key member of our housekeeping team, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and comfort of our guest rooms and common areas.

Your primary duties will include making beds, vacuuming and mopping, restocking toiletries, washing and ironing sheets, and performing other general cleaning tasks. You will also be responsible for tracking rooms cleaned and documenting lost and found items, damage, and repairs needed.

In addition to your cleaning duties, you will be expected to maintain the cleanliness of common spaces such as the hallways, public restrooms, and hotel lobby. You will also be responsible for answering general questions from guests and providing excellent customer service.

To be successful in this role, you will need to have strong time management, organizational, and communication skills. You must also have a good understanding of cleaning techniques and products. Responsibilities:

  • Perform cleaning duties and arrange guest rooms to our hotel's standard before guests arrive
  • Track rooms cleaned and document lost and found items, damage, and repairs needed
  • Manage the cleanliness of common spaces such as the hallways, public restrooms, and hotel lobby
  • Answer general questions from guests
  • Make beds, strip sheets, stock rooms with toiletries, do laundry, vacuum, mop, and perform other cleaning duties as needed

Qualifications:

  • Hard worker with strong time management, organizational, and communication skills
  • Must have graduated high school or received an equivalent certification
  • 1+ years as a professional housekeeper or similar position
  • Good understanding of cleaning techniques and products
