The Correctional Health Services (CHS) team provides medical, nursing, mental health, substance use treatment, social work, dental and vision care, discharge planning, and reentry support to patients in jail. Our innovative approach has earned us recognition as one of the nation's leading correctional health care systems.
We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team. As a member of our nursing staff, you will work in collaboration with physicians to provide comprehensive patient care, education, and support. You will assess patient health problems and needs, develop and implement individualized care plans, and maintain accurate medical records.
Your responsibilities will include administering medications, performing laboratory tests, directing and supervising less-skilled nursing personnel, and providing guidance and assistance to patients and families. You will also be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe environment, adhering to infection control protocols, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
