Job Description

The Riverbrook Regional YMCA is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Human Resources Director to lead our HR team and provide strategic guidance on all HR-related matters. As a key member of our senior leadership team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing HR strategies that align with our organization's mission and goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement HR strategies that support the organization's mission and goals
  • Provide guidance and support to executives and management on HR-related matters
  • Manage all HR functions, including recruitment, employee relations, compensation, benefits, and compliance
  • Develop and maintain HR policies and procedures
  • Provide training and development opportunities for employees
  • Manage workers' compensation and unemployment claims
  • Ensure compliance with all federal and state regulations
  • Develop and maintain relationships with compliance agencies and YMCA legal counsel
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Human Resources, or related field
  • 3-5 years of experience in HR, preferably in a leadership role
  • SHRM or HRCI certification preferred
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to think strategically and set long-term goals
