Facilities Maintenance Associate

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Facilities Maintenance Associate to join our team at the Emerald Queen Hotel & Casinos. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe environment for our guests and employees.



Key Responsibilities:




  • Emptying trash cans and recycling bins
  • Cleaning and maintaining restroom facilities, including restocking supplies
  • Sweeping and mopping floors, as well as wiping down gaming machines
  • Performing other job-related duties as assigned by department manager


Requirements:




  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent required
  • Must have experience in general housekeeping
  • Must have knowledge of using cleaning solutions and repairing cleaning equipment
  • Must be able to stand for longer than 8 hours
  • Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds
  • Must be able to tolerate a smoke-filled environment
  • Must be able to work all scheduled shifts, including days, swings, and graveyard shifts, as well as holidays
  • Must be able to pass a pre-employment illegal drug screen and obtain a Class IIIB license as required by the Puyallup Tribal Gaming Regulatory Office and the Washington State Gaming Commission


Benefits:




  • Starting wage of $16.81/hr, increasing to $17.39/hr after 90 days
  • Free Class B Gaming License (valued at $155-$200)
