About the Role

Corning Center for Rehabilitation and Healthcare is seeking a skilled nursing professional to join our team as a Registered Nurse (RN) Team Member. This is a full-time opportunity at our skilled nursing facility located in Corning, NY.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide advice and support to residents and their families
  • Monitor residents and administer medication and treatments
  • Document resident care services by charting in resident and department records
  • Protect residents and staff by adhering to infection-control policies and protocols
  • Resolve resident problems and needs by utilizing multidisciplinary team strategies
  • Assure quality of care by adhering to facility philosophies and standards of care
  • Supervise LPNs and Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA)
  • Maintain resident confidence by keeping information confidential

Requirements

  • Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment
  • Must hold a valid RN license
  • Strong computer skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Long-term care experience is a plus
  • Friendly and a team worker
