Expert Commercial Drywall Estimator

We are seeking a skilled Commercial Drywall Estimator to join our team at gpac, a leading search firm specializing in construction recruitment. The ideal candidate will have expertise in estimating, project management, and sales, with a passion for delivering high-quality results.
About the Role:This exciting opportunity involves accurately estimating costs and materials required for drywall projects in commercial settings. As a Commercial Drywall Estimator, you will be responsible for assessing project specifications, conducting site visits, and collaborating with clients to understand their needs.
Main Responsibilities:- Estimate Costs: Analyze project requirements, blueprints, and specifications to accurately estimate the cost of materials, labor, and equipment needed for drywall projects.
- Project Management: Manage projects from inception to completion, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards. Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure smooth project execution.
- Sales: Actively engage with potential clients, cultivate relationships, and generate sales opportunities. Present proposals and bids to clients, addressing their needs and providing solutions tailored to their requirements.
- Site Visits: Conduct site visits to assess project conditions, take measurements, and identify any potential challenges or opportunities.
- Documentation: Prepare detailed project proposals, bids, and contracts outlining project scope, timelines, costs, and terms.
- Customer Relationship Management: Maintain strong relationships with existing clients, addressing any concerns or issues promptly and effectively. Continuously seek opportunities to upsell or cross-sell additional services.
- Proven experience as a Commercial Drywall/Paint Estimator, preferably in a construction or contracting environment.
- Strong analytical and mathematical skills with the ability to accurately estimate project costs.
- Excellent project management abilities, including the ability to prioritize tasks, multitask, and meet deadlines.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients, subcontractors, and team members.
- Proficiency in using estimation software and familiarity with industry-standard tools and techniques.
- Self-motivated with a proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-making.
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to project sites as needed.
- Salary: $75,000 - $130,000 per annum.
