As a Registered Nurse in our Medical Surgical department, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care. Key Responsibilities:- Provide direct patient care, including nursing assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation.
- Coordinate care for patients and their families across the healthcare continuum.
- Ensure accountability for clinical, educational, quality, and fiscal patient care outcomes.
- Follow the model of care established by the nursing department in line with agency policies, procedures, protocols, guidelines, and standards of practice.
- Communicate effectively with various members of the healthcare team, patients, and families.
- Utilize strong organizational skills to set priorities and efficiently complete assigned tasks.
- At least 24 months of experience as a MED SURG TELE RN in a hospital setting.
- Basic computer proficiency, including the ability to access, enter, and interpret computerized data/information.
- Effective interpersonal skills to facilitate communication with healthcare team members, patients, and families.
- Strong organizational skills for prioritizing tasks and completing assignments efficiently.
- BSN preferred.
- Licensed to practice professional nursing as a Registered Nurse.
- Current BLS (AHA) and ACLS certifications.
- Graduate from an accredited nursing school with an Associate's or Bachelor of Science degree program; BSN preferred.
