About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Imaging Technologist to join our team at Reliant Medical Group, part of the Optum family of businesses. Compensation and Benefits

This full-time position offers a competitive salary range of $65,000 - $85,000 per year, depending on experience. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, including health, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) match, and paid holidays, we also offer flexible hours within a positive and caring environment that delivers outstanding patient care and compassion.

Job Description

The Medical Imaging Technologist will be responsible for performing ultrasound studies, including diagnostic breast imaging and limited vascular studies, as assigned. This will involve obtaining and reviewing patient clinical history and related reports/documentation, obtaining pertinent medical history, instructing patients regarding exam procedures and preparation, and performing related clerical duties as needed.

Required Qualifications

To be considered for this role, candidates must have a graduate degree from an AMA-accredited ultrasound program or equivalent, be certified by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS), and possess RDMS registered breast technologist certification or become registered within six months of hire. Additionally, BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is required, and candidates must demonstrate competency to perform ultrasound exams on newborns, children, adults, and geriatric patients, meeting all department guidelines.
