Job Summary

The Chef Manager is a critical role within our team, responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our kitchen. This includes managing staff, maintaining budgets, and ensuring that our high standards of food quality and safety are met.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the Director in managing production requirements, adhering to recipes and safe food handling principles.
  • Manage and develop a high-performing team to meet our standards.
  • Coordinate cooking, prepping, and other kitchen activities according to production schedules.
  • Perform temperature checks and maintain logs to ensure food safety.
  • Implement and follow sanitation cleaning schedules for all kitchen areas and equipment.
  • Complete weekly payroll and assist with production in the cold pantry station.
  • Conduct weekly kitchen meetings to ensure all staff are informed and aligned.
Additional Duties
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
Requirements
  • College or culinary degree preferred.
  • Food management professional preferred.
  • ServSafe certification required.
  • OSHA certification preferred but not required.
  • Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite.
Work Environment

The work environment is fast-paced and dynamic, with moderate to loud noise levels. The successful candidate must be able to work in a kitchen setting and be comfortable with the physical demands of the role.
