Job Summary:

As a Property Manager Team Lead at Long & Foster, you will oversee a team of property managers and staff, ensuring exceptional customer service and driving business growth. You will advise and counsel real estate managers and sales associates on HomeServices Property Management products and services, and work to institutionalize property management in the real estate channel.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in real estate and property management, with excellent communication and leadership skills. You will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to promote team member adherence to company regulations and performance goals, and for generating and sharing comprehensive reports.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a team of property managers and staff to ensure exceptional customer service and business growth
  • Advise and counsel real estate managers and sales associates on HomeServices Property Management products and services
  • Develop and implement strategies to promote team member adherence to company regulations and performance goals
  • Generate and share comprehensive reports
  • Coordinate and review property surveys and inspections
  • Prepare management leases and ensure timely collection of certified funds and security deposits
  • Monitor unpaid rents and initiate legal actions as needed
  • Communicate with owners regarding vacancies, leasing activity, and property legal matters

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent combination of training and experience
  • Licensed to practice real estate in the jurisdictions where properties are located
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and maintain a flexible schedule
  • Knowledge of accounting and bookkeeping fundamentals
  • Ability to lift up to 25 lbs. and load and unload materials
  • Daily travel in personal vehicle
