About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Industrial Battery Tester Technician to join our team at Arbin Instruments. This is a unique opportunity to work with cutting-edge testing equipment and be a part of a dynamic team that is shaping the future of energy storage.

Job Summary

The Industrial Battery Tester Technician will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality standards in the manufacture and testing of battery systems. This involves connecting systems to PCs pre-installed with Arbin-developed testing software, running QC testing, tracking results, and conducting basic troubleshooting to ensure timely delivery of products.

Responsibilities
  • Maintain quality standards and requirements through thorough testing and analysis of results.
  • Prepare battery testers according to product records, manuals, and customer specifications.
  • Update test logs and reports and notify supervisors of any issues.
  • Ensure the testing station environment is well-maintained, including general housekeeping, preventative maintenance, and equipment calibration.
  • Assist manufacturing and perform other tasks as assigned by the supervisor.
Requirements
  • Reliable and punctual attendance.
  • Able to maintain a high level of self-control and discipline in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong sense of responsibility, excellent learning capabilities, positive attitude, and good coordination skills.
  • Capable of reading, understanding, and executing production documents and safety manuals.
  • Able to handle high-voltage and current battery testers safely.
  • Capable of learning all aspects of the job and performing them with minimal supervision.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Basis knowledge of electrical circuit boards.
  • Preferring mechanical background.
  • Able to operate large industrial electronics.
  • Familiarity with basic computer skills such as emailing, document creation/editing, and spreadsheet creating/editing.
  • Must be able to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Experience using basic hand tools is preferred.
  • Able to work overtime, holidays, and varied shifts as required.
  • Preferring ability to drive a forklift.
Education and Experience
  • High school or equivalent education (Required).
  • US work authorization (Required).
  • At least 2 years' experience working in industrial production is strongly preferred.
Compensation and Benefits

The estimated salary for this position is $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience. In addition to competitive pay, we offer a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) matching, and paid time off.
