Exceptional Educator for K-5th Grade Special Needs Students

We are seeking an experienced Special Education Teacher to join our team at ProCare Therapy. This is a full-time role in a school district serving students in grades K-5.
Job Summary:
This position requires a dedicated and compassionate individual with a passion for teaching students with special needs. The successful candidate will have a minimum of 1+ years of experience in special education and a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education (or related field).
About the Role:
The Special Education Teacher will be responsible for developing and implementing individualized education programs (IEPs) for students with special needs. They will provide specialized instruction and support to help students achieve academic and social goals, collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to create a nurturing learning environment, adapt teaching methods and materials to accommodate diverse learning styles and abilities, and assess student progress and adjust instructional strategies accordingly.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education (or related field)
- Valid state (MA) teaching certification/license in Special Education
- Prior experience working with students with special needs in inner city is preferred
- Strong knowledge of special education laws, regulations, and best practices
Salary and Benefits:
The estimated salary for this position is $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer paid weekly (W-2), health/dental/vision insurance, and 401k matching.
