HCA Florida Northside Hospital is seeking a PRN CT Technologist to join our team. As a Diagnostic Imaging Specialist, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality, efficient care to all patients.
About Our FacilityWe are a 280+ bed facility offering state-of-the-art treatment, minutes from the pristine Gulf Coast beaches and downtown St. Petersburg. Our full range of services includes interventional stroke care, spine care, orthopedics, 24-hour emergency services, cardiac care, and general surgery.
We take pride in being an Accredited Chest Pain Center with PCI, American College of Radiology Accredited facility, and Top Performer on Key Quality Measures.
Job DescriptionAs a Diagnostic Imaging Specialist, your primary responsibility will be to operate the CT scanner, pressure injector, resuscitation equipment, laser filmer, and teleradiology system. You will prepare, transfer, and position patients as needed, ensuring modesty and safety.
You will document all pertinent clinical information prior to exams, obtain informed consent, and complete all required fields within MEDITECH accurately and on time. Your goal will be to obtain high-quality CT images, assuring only optimal images are submitted for interpretation.
Required Skills and Qualifications- Clear/active Florida Department of Health licensure (CRT)
- Ability to perform work requiring frequent standing, bending, reaching, squatting, kneeling, moving, and/or lifting of patients/equipment up to 100 lbs.
- Minimum of 1 year current/recent experience in diagnostic radiology (X-Ray), preferably in an acute-care hospital setting
