About the RoleWe are seeking a skilled Medical Care Specialist to join our team on the 3 West unit at Maury Regional Medical Center in Columbia, TN. As a Medical Care Specialist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and supporting nursing staff in maintaining a safe and efficient environment.
The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in medical terminology, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Previous experience in a hospital setting is preferred but not required.
Responsibilities- Provide basic nursing care to patients, including vital sign checks and routine treatments
- Assist with clerical duties, such as processing physician orders and updating patient records
- Support nursing staff in maintaining a clean and organized workspace
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- 1 year of Related Experience Preferred
As a Medical Care Specialist at Maury Regional Health, you can expect a competitive salary range of $40,000-$55,000 per year, depending on experience. Additionally, you will enjoy:
